currently seeking permanent and locum family physicians in Wiarton and Sauble

Beach to practice full-scope family medicine including ER, inpatient, and

primary care.

 

The South Bruce Peninsula Family Health Organization-

Wiarton

The South Bruce Peninsula FHO is a collegial group of 8 physicians with independent primary care practices.  Physicians provide full-scope family medicine.  Physician primary care offices are located in the professional building adjacent to the GBHS Hospital - Wiarton Site.  Physician primary care services are complimented by other services such as CCAC services on site, and the North Bruce Community Mental Health Team

Sauble Family Health Team, Sauble Beach

The South Bruce Peninsula area Physicians work co-operatively with the larger, allied health team at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, and work collaboratively as primary health care providers to the Sauble Family Health Team, in the Huron shore town of Sauble Beach.  Please refer to the Sauble Family Health Team website for more information regarding the Health Care Team  and its interdisciplinary staff members.

Grey Bruce Health Services - Wiarton Site

The new Wiarton Site of Grey Bruce Health Services was built in 1994.  There are over 125 employees.  The hospital has a 24/7 ER Department, 12 inpatient beds, and offers a wide variety of primary and ambulatory services (Diabetes Education, Psychogeriatric Outreach, Endoscopy, etc.).  Xray, ultrasound, lab, physiotherapy, and dietician services, among others, are available on-site.  A 10 bed complex continuing care unit will open in the Fall of 2014.
